Michael Kors Watches

This is the number one item I want for my 22nd birthday, which is in 11 days. I'll be 22! I'm so excited! I want one of Michael Kor's beautiful watches. I have been wanting a chunky gold watch for a long time now. These watches come with a hefty price tag, $180 - $250. I tried some on at Dillard's today and fell in love with the oversized horn watch (the third pictured). I hope my parents get me this for my birthday. My bracelet is from Express. It's kind of like the Loren bracelets found here. I like the layered look with watches and cute little bracelets.
Horn Bezel Watch $195
Shiny Gold Watch $180
Oversized Horn Watch $250
I also tried the YSL Parisienne perfume and it is divineeeeeeeeee! This is also on my birthday wishlist. I love it so much. The testing swatch is so beautiful.

My First Photoshoot

My longtime friend, Josh Phifer, took some fabulous pictures of me in downtown Greensboro today. I wore a striped top sent to me from Torrid (I've been waiting for the perfect moment to showcase this shirt on my blog), jeans I distressed, and Torrid wedges. It was so awkward being photographed with nosey people walking by and people staring through their car windows. So happy the rain let up so I could get a few snaps in.Top: Torrid
Jeans: Torrid (distressed by me)
Shoes: Torrid
Earrings: Forever 21
Rings: Torrid

Here are some other pictures my friend Erica took with my camera.

Crystal Renn in Tush Magazine

This is definitely Crystal Renn's year! She's featured in the "Size Matters" editorial in Tush Magazine. Wearing a teased hairstyle, oversized designer jewelry, and a plethora of denim, Crystal Renn looks casual couture. Photographed by Armin Morbach and styled by Ingo Nahrwold, Crystal rocks looks from Levi’s, Louis Vuitton and Fendi.

Top 10.

These were my favorite looks of my senior year in college. One more semester left and then I'm graduating! Mine was definitely the first look in the second group. The dress was sent to me from Jen's Fashion Plus. I found this gigantic bib necklace which set the entire outfit off. My second favorite was my white party outfit. Simple, chic, and fresh. Which one is your favorite?

Torrid Floral Romper.

Last Saturday at my campus organization's cookout, I wore this amazing romper that I bought from Torrid. The whole time I thought it was a dress, until I fully examined the garment at my local Torrid store. It's so comfortable, hassle-free, and light-weight. Pairing my romper with lace-up gladiator sandals and jade earrings added the final touches. I recommend one of these for your summer wardrobe. If you're going to get a romper with a busy pattern, tone down accessories and shoes.

New Beginnings.

A few days ago, I erased my Gmail e-mail address and by doing this I erased my Google Account. Blogger/Blogspot is a Google product, so by erasing my Google account, my former blog, Lifestyles of the Broke & Famous was erased. I created LBF in May 2008. Just as it was reaching its peak and receiving recognition it was gone. I cried for almost two hours thinking about all of the hard work I put into it, all of the long nights writing posts and editing them, all my followers, the Facebook group and fan page, the companies that sponsored the product reviews, and my future as a fashion editor. I received so many tweets and e-mails from you all asking where did my blog go. I really did not know that so many of you really loved LBF, which motivated me to start something new. Google has a recovery system, but it's very strict and they rarely restore blogs back to users. I couldn't sit around and wait all day on Google. I had to continue doing what I love most, sharing my love of plus-sized fashion with the world. I was sitting and thinking HARD on a new name. Don't get me wrong, I loved Lifestyles of the Broke & Famous, but it didn't directly correlate to plus-sized fashion. I consider my blog to be a diary, so I came up with Diary of a Fatshionista. I hope that you all embark on this journey with me and my new blog. I love you all and I hope you all love the new blog!

xo,
Mia
