How to Find Perfect-Fitting Shoes

With stores stocked full of beautiful, impractical shoes it’s no surprise that a recent study proved eight out of ten women own nine pairs of shoes they’ve worn once, twice, or not at all. That’s a lot of shoes! Often it can be difficult to find stylish shoes that fit, making us choose between style and comfort. But whether you have wide or narrow feet it doesn’t have to be so difficult.

The key to finding the perfect-fitting shoes is to measure your feet prior to buying. With the likes of DUO stocking on-trend shoes in a variety of fits it is possible to find fashionable, comfortable shoes. Just grab a tape measure and follow this easy tutorial to measure your feet correctly…

Once you have your measurements you can use these at a number of retailers to find those perfect shoes! To wear the latest colours look out for beautiful blue hues, including ice blue, aquamarine and navy, as a nod to this season’s ocean inspired trend. Or for a special occasion this summer, such as a wedding, opulent metallic will be ideal.

A key style for this season is the platform wedge – adding height without causing pain (which is always a bonus!). For those that prefer to wear flats you won’t be short of choice. Spring/summer brings you a huge range of styles from embellished or printed ballet flats, to canvas pumps and gladiator sandals.

Very informing post. I have wide feet(or in the south Fat feet) and sometimes its very hard to find a fierce shoe that will fit. I will defiantly see if I take my measurements in a store and see if they can help.
