Big Hats, Big Business

I've learned that building a brand you can't possibly do everything alone. Gaining resources through networking is a vital component to success. I was invited to a private brunch event at Upstream Restaurant hosted by some of the founders of Women Who Network, Terri Craft and Marcelle Collins-Clyburn.  All of the fab attendees sported elegant hats to play on the theme of southern belle meets Kentucky Derby. I opted for a white hot look with a playful focus on a textured skater dress and a white hat with silver embellishments. We all dined in an intimate private room where we sat round circle and introduced ourselves highlighting our credentials and what exactly we do. I was excited to learn more about each of the women and hear their passion about women uniting and becoming an united force. Women Who Network, host a string of social networking events (normally hosted at Caviar Nightlife) where women can mix, mingle, shop from various vendors, sip a cocktail, and ultimately network with like driven and ambitious women. This event was by far my favorite for the professional connections I was able to make to take my brand to the next level. If you're in the Charlotte area follow Women Who Network on Instagram for information on their next events.
